The nearest (and only) airport on the Island of Oahu is the Honolulu International Airport (HNL). All major airlines fly directly into HNL, so guests are welcome to book with whichever carrier best fits their travel preferences. Because Hawai‘i is a U.S. state, passports are not required — a valid Driver’s License or State ID is all you need.
We recommend arriving 1–2 days before the wedding and staying through the weekend to enjoy the island at a relaxed pace.
For accommodations, guests are encouraged to stay anywhere that suits their needs and budget. We do offer a Hotel Block with a special discounted group rate at the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. It’s approximately 15 minutes from the venue and offers the best access to beaches, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
Waikīkī is a vibrant, high‑traffic area — especially during rush hour — so please plan a little extra time when traveling around the city. Rental cars are not required, but they are recommended if you’re interested in exploring the island beyond Honolulu.
Airport to Waikīkī:
Most major hotels offer shuttle services, and rideshare options (Uber/Lyft) are widely available.
Getting Around the Island:
Rental cars are the easiest way to explore beaches, hikes, and scenic spots outside the city.
Rideshare works well within Honolulu but may be limited on the North Shore or more remote areas.
Public transit (TheBus) is reliable but slower — best for budget travelers or short distances.
Wedding Day Transportation: A Uber/Lyft code will be provided to cover your ride to the venue, so no need to worry about parking or navigating traffic.
